2009 Sweet Adeline of the Year

Maureen Raymond

 Maureen works tirelessly for Heart of Highland chorus.  She has been a driving force behind many of the yearly fundraisers and is a familiar face most every Thursday night in the lead section.  Maureen is originally from Long Island, NY.  She and her husband, Jerry, moved to Lake Placid from Merrimack, NH.  Maureen loves music (feels every beat).  Jerry & Maureen love to dance.  You can see them boogying most Fridays at the Sebring Elks.  Maureen loves to cook, garden, and, of course, shop at any mall.  Enjoys dining at good restaurants.  She is also the publicity person for the chorus.
